Before you replace any speaker in your car, make sure you know its dimensions and where the mounting holes are located. if there are problems you can get a speaker stand that will allow you to put the new speaker on. You can also drill new holes in the mounting area to connect your speaker.

make sure you know the vertical height of your old and new speakers. if you had to remove a panel to get to your speaker, a slightly larger tweeter can be a mere fraction of an inch taller and still make panel replacement impossible.
