Due to the nature of mlms, it’s important to make sure you do your own research before purchasing a product from one of the brand’s consultants. sounds like too much work? Don’t worry, we’ve done the hard work for you. all you have to do is keep scrolling to read the details of the most popular artistry skin care products.
We’ll review product formulations through a scientific lens, which means we’ll provide you with the research that supports (or doesn’t support) the ingredients you’ll find in these products.
We’ll also share some artistry skincare reviews so you can get an idea of what customers really think of these products.
is artistry skincare worth the money?
A common question about this brand is whether the products are worth their money. artistry skincare products are expensive, for example artistry supreme lx™ regenerating cream is $330.
in our opinion, artistry skin care products are not worth the money simply because there are other skin care brands that offer similar products that are less expensive.
one brand is carrot & stick, a clean skincare brand that perfectly balances the gentle care of plants with the powerful results of innovative science.
carrot & Stick’s intro packs offer great value for money because you can bundle 3 full-size products worth up to $240 for $88.
what are the top 10 artistry skin care products?
artistry offers consumers hundreds of different products, including cleansers, toners, moisturizers, treatment products, serums, masks, exfoliators, acne care, eye care, lip care, and men’s care. here’s a breakdown of artistry’s 10 most popular skin care products.
artistry intensive skin care advanced vitamin c + ha treatment
As the name suggests, vitamin c and hyaluronic acid are two key ingredients in this artistic facial. both are excellent skin care ingredients. Vitamin C helps brighten and firm the complexion, while Hyaluronic Acid hydrates and plumps.
One problem with this formula is the high concentration of denatured alcohol. For one, alcohol works as a penetration enhancer by disrupting the skin’s barrier so that key ingredients can penetrate deeper into the skin. it also helps to remove excess oil and temporarily tighten the skin.
On the other hand, alcohol-based products can cause excessive skin dryness and even skin damage (remember that alcohol disrupts the skin barrier). Over time, this can cause the sebaceous glands to compensate by producing even more oil, leading to clogged pores and acne.
Although denatured alcohol does have some benefits, we do not believe the benefits outweigh the risks, so we do not recommend this artistry product.
Bottom line: This artistic facial contains beneficial key ingredients like vitamin C and hyaluronic acid, but the high concentration of denatured alcohol prevents us from recommending this product.
artistry signature select brightening amp and base serum
This artistry product comes with a base serum and a shine booster, but the formulations of both products are pretty basic. though they should help plump and brighten the skin — temporarily, that is.
The base serum is primarily made up of water, moisturizers, and silicones. the rest of the ingredients used in the formulation of this product are present in very low concentrations (less than 1%).
you’ll likely notice softer, smoother skin with this combination of ingredients. That’s because silicones form a thin, invisible film on the skin’s surface that helps disguise lines and wrinkles, while humectants lock in skin’s moisture. Extra hydration is extra volume, which effectively plumps up the skin and makes lines and wrinkles less noticeable.
Please note, however, that these effects are temporary: as soon as the product is rinsed out, lines and wrinkles will return to their normal size.
As for the brightening amplifier, this formula should help brighten the appearance of skin thanks to the mica and titanium dioxide.
mica and titanium dioxide are minerals that add a shimmering effect and reflect light off the face, creating the illusion of a smoother, softer, more radiant skin tone.
but this effect is more like makeup than skincare, and the effects will wear off once you wash the product off.
Another thing to note with this artist serum is that both formulations include parabens as preservatives.
Bottom line: This bundle of artistry products comes with a base serum and a glow booster, which should help temporarily plump, smooth and brighten skin; but keep in mind that the formula contains parabens.
artistry exact fit beauty balm perfecting foundation
This artistic foundation is formulated to instantly improve the look of skin texture. It is available in just one universal shade that is said to work for all skin tones.
you can wear it under your foundation for easier makeup application and blending, or alone for ultra-sheer coverage with spf 35.
Most of the formula consists of silicones, which give this foundation a silky texture that blends easily on the skin. silicones provide several additional benefits. for example, they form a thin, invisible film on the skin’s surface that helps lock in moisture while blurring the look of lines and wrinkles.
silicones also allow for easier makeup application. when worn under foundation, makeup glides on more easily, blends effortlessly, and lasts longer.
Unfortunately, we noticed that this is another artistry product that contains parabens as preservatives.
Simply put: A silky smooth primer that helps improve the look of skin texture and allows for easier makeup application, but please note that the formula is paraben free.
artistry ideal radiance illuminating moisturizer
This facial moisturizer for normal to dry skin has a thick, creamy texture that melts into the skin and absorbs quickly without leaving a greasy residue. the formula is said to even out skin tone and treat visible dark spots, but is this true?
looking at the ingredient list, the formula consists primarily of moisturizers, silicones, and emollients. all these ingredients help soften and hydrate the skin.

As for the skin-brightening ingredients, we noticed low concentrations of vitamin c, licorice root extract, and antioxidants. These can help brighten skin, but if you’re really trying to fade dark spots and discoloration, we recommend a vitamin c serum.
Unfortunately, there are a few problems with this moisturizer. one is the use of parabens as preservatives. and the second problem is the mixture of synthetic fragrances.
Simply put: a thick, creamy moisturizer that will help soften and hydrate skin, but the formula contains low concentrations of skin-brightening ingredients.
artistry skin nourishment balancing mattifying gel lotion
If you wear makeup, one decision you’ve probably been faced with is whether to create a matte or dewy finish. products marketed to give you a “dewy glow” sound great in theory, but can actually leave your face looking greasy, especially if you already have oily skin.
If this sounds familiar, you’ll want to choose makeup and skincare products that help mattify skin, like artistry Skin Nourishment Balancing Matte Gel Lotion.
This fast-absorbing, lightweight lotion instantly hydrates skin while absorbing excess oil, leaving a soft matte appearance that’s healthy and balanced. Some of the ingredients that help reduce excess oil include plant plankton, PCA zinc, and dimethicone.
In addition, the formula includes plant extracts rich in antioxidants, such as acerola, Australian daisy and blackberry, to help prevent and delay the appearance of the first visible signs of aging.
The formula is paraben-free, but there are fragrance ingredients that have the potential to cause skin sensitivity reactions.
The bottom line: A lightweight, fast-absorbing lotion that hydrates and protects skin while absorbing excess oil, leaving it looking smooth and matte.
artistry studio glow boss cleanser + scrub
This is a cleanser and exfoliator in one that exfoliates as it cleanses, removing impurities and build-up to leave skin feeling soft and smooth.
The formula includes silicon dioxide, also known as silica, a mild abrasive that will help exfoliate the top layers of skin.
the rest of the formula is made up mainly of surfactants in order to remove makeup, excess oil, dirt and other impurities that may have accumulated during the day.
There are some beneficial extracts in the formula, such as aloe and willow bark, but they are present in very low concentrations (less than 1%).
Simply put: a basic cleanser that uses surfactants to cleanse the skin and silicon dioxide to gently exfoliate the skin.
artistry studio zen daze forward face oil + 300mg cbd
cbd is known for its relaxing effects that can help you unwind after a stressful day. but did you know that cbd can also benefit your skin?
in skincare, cbd is best known for its calming, anti-inflammatory, and restorative properties.
penetrates deep into the skin, triggering cell communication that is responsible for numerous positive physiological responses in the body, including highly potent anti-inflammatory properties.
research has shown that cbd can help reduce redness and inflammation associated with acne breakouts. In addition, CBD has the potential to decrease excessive sebum (oil) production, as well as help reduce other acne triggers.
cbd can also help prevent signs of aging due to its antioxidant properties. Lastly, CBD is very calming and can help with sensitivity and redness. Even if you don’t have visible signs of sensitivity, CBD can help combat the environmental stressors we face every day.
The rest of this artistic face oil consists of botanical oils, such as sunflower, olive, grapeseed, and marula oil.
Simply put: A full-spectrum 300mg cbd facial oil that helps soothe and restore skin while delivering anti-aging and acne-fighting benefits.
artistry youth xtend enriching cream
An overnight facial moisturizer for people with normal to dry skin that promises to “flood your skin with hydration and repair overnight.”
The formula should help improve skin hydration by combining several different moisturizers with a large amount of emollients, such as meadowfoam seed oil, squalane, petrolatum and shea butter, just to name a few.
There are also some peptides in this formula that may provide anti-aging benefits.
for example, pentapeptide-34 trifluoroacetate is a bioengineered peptide that increases the production of coenzyme q10 (coq10) in the body. CoQ10 has potent antioxidant action and can therefore reduce UV-induced oxidative stress that can lead to signs of aging.
There’s also dipeptide-4, a peptide that protects the skin from environmental stress and skin glycosylation, thereby helping to maintain skin health and elasticity.
Lastly, we would like to point out that this formula contains parabens and synthetic fragrance ingredients.
Simply put: A hydrating face cream for people with normal to dry skin that contains peptides to help prevent signs of aging, but be aware that the formula contains parabens and fragrance.
artistry supreme lx regenerating cream
at $304 for just a tiny 1.7 oz jar, artistry supreme lx regenerating cream is one of the brand’s pricier products, which is surprising since the formula isn’t much different than other skincare products. artistry skin care
Most of the formula consists of moisturizers and emollients such as petroleum jelly (also known as Vaseline), as well as silicones. These ingredients are great for softening and moisturizing the skin, but there is nothing special about them.
There are also high concentrations of parabens and synthetic fragrance ingredients in this cream.
and there are low concentrations of ingredients that would provide benefits, such as vitamin c and peptides, which are present in concentrations less than 1%. That means you’re getting more fragrance and preservatives than these beneficial ingredients. what a disappointing formula!

Simply put: An expensive face cream that will help soften and hydrate the skin, but we still wouldn’t recommend it due to the parabens and fragrance in the formula.
artistry ideal radiance illuminating milky emulsion
This milky emulsion has a light texture that absorbs quickly into the skin, making it a good choice for people with combination to oily skin.
Like many artistry skin care products, the majority of the formula consists of moisturizers, emollients, and silicones. There are some ingredients that brighten the skin, like vitamin c and licorice root extract, but they are present in low concentrations.
Lastly, we would like to point out that this formula contains parabens and synthetic fragrance ingredients.
in a nutshell: a lightweight moisturizer for combination to oily skin.
what are the key ingredients in artistry skin care products?
artistry bills itself as a natural skincare brand and while its products contain natural ingredients, it is worth noting that the product formulations consist of a number of synthetic ingredients.
Just because an ingredient is synthetic doesn’t mean it’s harmful; in fact, there are many synthetic skin care ingredients that offer numerous benefits for the skin, such as silicones and peptides.
Unfortunately, artistry skin care products include some problematic synthetic ingredients, one example being synthetic fragrance ingredients that are used in almost all products.
The use of synthetic fragrance ingredients can be a problem because the brand may use a proprietary blend of chemicals to create the fragrance. on average, it consists of 30 to 50 chemicals (but can have up to 200 components).
want to know the worst part? the brand does not have to disclose which chemicals it uses on the label. they are allowed to list this blend as “fragrance (parfum)” in the ingredients list.
In addition, a 2018 study by Women’s Voices for Earth found that of more than 3,000 chemicals reportedly used for fragrances, 1,242 were chemicals of concern, and that included at least 7 possible carcinogens (causing of cancer).
Fragrance ingredients also have the potential to cause skin irritation and sensitivity.
So, there are parabens in many artistry skin care products. Parabens are preservatives used to extend the shelf life of a product by preventing microbial contamination.
The use of parabens in cosmetics and skin care products is controversial because there is conflicting research on the possible health consequences of long-term exposure to parabens.
according to the ewg, parabens can act like the hormone estrogen in the body and disrupt the normal function of hormonal systems that affect the function of the male and female reproductive systems, reproductive development, fertility, and childbirth outcomes.
Parabens are easily absorbed into the skin, which means that continued use of products that contain parabens could lead to an increase in estrogen in the body.
how much do artistry skincare products cost?
artistry skin care products range from medium to high cost. For example, Artistry Intensive Skin Care Advanced Vitamin C + HA Treatment is $52 for 12 ml, while Artistry Studio Zen Daze Advance Facial Oil is $38 for 1 fl oz.
one of the brand’s most expensive products is the artistry supreme lx regenerating cream, which costs $304 usd for 50 ml.
where to buy artistry skin care products?
artistry skin care products are sold on the brand’s website as well as through amway independent consultants.
what is amway’s return policy?
amway’s return policy states that “if for any reason you are not completely satisfied with our products, you may return them within 180 days of purchase for an exchange or refund of the product price and applicable tax.”
is art cruelty free?
Artistry’s parent company, Amway, is not cruelty-free because its products are sold in mainland China (where animal testing is required by law).
is art vegan?
While some artistry skin care products may be suitable for vegans, artistry is not a 100% vegan brand.
artist reviews
Art reviews on the brand’s website are generally very positive. One product that has been very well received is the Artistry Studio Zen Daze Ahead + 300mg CBD Facial Oil, which earned an average rating of 4.8 out of 5 stars after more than 140 customer reviews.
Positive reviews of this artistry face oil mention how it helps soften, soothe, and restore skin.
For example, one review says, “I bought this a couple of weeks ago. I’m very happy with how soft my skin feels after using it. I have very sensitive skin and often everything I use gives me pimples but i used this and still no pimples or anything i highly recommend this product!”
Another 5-star art review says: “I bought this out of curiosity, honestly I didn’t think my skin needed to be more zen and I wasn’t sure what CBD oil would do to my face. I was shocked and now hooked!” Not only did my skin feel more hydrated and glowing, my dark circles (which bother me the most) were reduced, and somehow it seemed like there was more volume under my eyes that had been diminishing with age.”
However, there are a handful of negative reviews for this artistic face oil from customers who found the product smelled good and promoted relaxation, but saw no benefit to their skin.
for example, one review says: “this is nice to put on, but I don’t feel any difference.”
and a similar review says: “smells good, but not relaxing.”
